We are extremely pleased with virtually everything about the Glass Door company: the service, the quality of materials, the workmanship, the estimated start/finish dates (completed many weeks of estimate), and especially the customer service. The technicians, Caleb and ? were competent, professional, prompt and answered all of our questions. Any phone contacts were efficiently and competently addressed both before and after the work was completed by Melissa. (I believe she was the only office professional that I spoke with). She was knowledgeable and helpful always. She was also very patient with my lack of tech issues. Never made me feel “dumb.” She always returned my calls and in a timely manner. We just could not be any happier with our choice for this project. I know that this review is full of superlatives, but it’s an honest reflection of how I feel. Thank you for everything. We were looking to replace two clear glass inserts with decorative glass inserts. We stopped by a couple of stores closer to home but left a bit confused regarding pricing and timeline. I found The Glass Door Store on-line and we could not be happier with the entire experience. There was a hiccup in production of the inserts which was caught by The Glass Door review of the delivered product. While The Glass Door was not at fault, Andy (owner) called to explain and apologize for the delay and to assure us that they would take care of it. It's easy to get it right the first; it's even easier to screw it up the first time; what's really hard is making it right after you have screwed it up. Andy, Melissa and Caleb did just that......we greatly appreciate their professionalism and customer service. Caleb went above and beyond during the install. I would not hesitate to recommend The Glass Door.

On 1/3/2023, we placed a special order for two exterior (impact rated) doors with glass inserts for our house. The doors were installed on 2/21/2023. After seeing many of my neighbors with glass decorative inserts in their front doors I checked with a few, and they all had it done by the glass door store! Every single one of them was delighted with the door the installation and the customer service! My experience was no different, I went on a Saturday, and spent approximately a half an hour with Jason (?). I picked out the glass insert that I wanted gave a 50% deposit and it was installed in approximately two weeks. Installation was very quick and easy and I am delighted with the final product.

Jordan with The Glass Door Store is top notch. I had an emergency which required pricing a decorative piece of glass in a front door, which my company broke. Even though I am not in their area, as I am in Jupiter, FL., he took the time to work with me to find the proper replacement and provided a price right away. It was a pleasure to work with the glass door store. They went above and beyond in making sure that our glass insert was perfect. We were originally going to replace our solid front door because our hallway was so dark. After looking at prices to replace our 8 foot front door, we decided to look at glass inserts instead. The process was easy from beginning to end, no pressure to buy and the price was more then reasonable. Thanks to them, we no longer have a dark hallway and we have a beautiful front door.

I had a door that was damaged with hurricane Ian that was installed before I purchased my house so I had no idea who could service it. I reached out toe The Glass Door Store and despite them not selling me the door, they sent people out to help. The showed up when they said they would and resolved my issue efficiently at a reasonable price. I was so impressed, I had them measure a couple other doors we are planning on replacing next year. Overall it was a great experience. Custom door for oversized area and they handled everything from the customization to the installation like a charm.Only negative - the timeline to get the door in was delayed 4 months, over 3 separate occurrences. I understand supply chain issues but would’ve been nice to have had better expectations on that front.Would highly recommend and will use them for future door needs.

I highly recommend The Glass Door Store in Lakeland, FL! I purchased 3 glass inserts with enclosed mini blinds for the back porch. Installed them myself after sanding and painting all 3 doors. I was told I was getting someone to measure my door within a week and that was a bit delayed. (it was right around the holidays) Today (May 16th) we got our doors installed and we are very happy with the end results. We were under construction on a new home and were disappointed to learn that the builder dropped the ball on ordering our desired front doors. Our only option was a 6 panel door which we did not want but didn’t have time to wait for a custom door to be ordered. After some research, we found The Glass Door Store. We visited 2 different places looking for a glass insert in our existing front door. The Glass Door Store stood out with amazing customer service and the best prices too! The other company tried forcing us to purchase much more expensive hurricane impact glass while The Glass Door Store gave us options (including an option to purchase hurricane shutters specifically for the glass portion of the door!)Upon visiting their showroom, they suggested we find a few styles that we like so they can provide quotes. While in the store I chose 3, which they promptly emailed quotes over so I could start my HOA approval process. Prices do vary significantly based on which glass of your favorite.After going home, I found 2 more glass styles that I liked. Emailed my salesperson back and within less than a day I had 2 more quotes waiting for me, no questions asked. Their customer service really is stellar.They allow you to pay 50% deposit to get your order going and the remaining balance upon installation.And let me tell you, installation was quick and easy! I was so impressed with how quickly their guys took my door off, cut a hole in it, and made it beautiful with the glass I selected. It was 15 minutes! Crazy.If you're considering enhancing your front door, look no further, this is the business you should go with!! Tell them I sent you

We recently built and moved into our new home and once we were all moved in, realized the inside foyer was very dark. I contracted with the Glass Door Store in Carrollwood/Tampa in September and just took delivery and installation of our new door on November 24th. I love our new glass door and really appreciate the caring way the store makes sure that we are pleased with the purchase and installation. If you are looking for a new door, either an interior or exterior door, I recommend the Glass Door Store to get the best door possible.

Amazing! They "under promise" and OVER DELIVER! We are ecstatic with our door. The most amazing thing was from knocking on my door to finished install was exactly 15 minutes and it's perfect. Today we visited the Glass Door Store in Lakeland, Fla.The show room had a verity of glass doors to choose from. With the assistance of Angel and her knowledge of their product, along with answering any and all questions we had, she took it above and beyond to help us understandhow the glass will be installed in our existing door.Thank you Angel.On October 27 we visited the Glass Door Store in Lakeland, Fla.After selecting the glass insert we were informed that we will be notified when we can expect delivery. Couldn't be happier. We had plain front (no sunlight in) French doors. We're looking to replace doors for ones with glass in them to get that look. Was referred here to where they add inserts to existing doors at a fraction of the cost with, honestly, more of the look we wanted. Guys came here, unattached each door separately, cut door in driveway, added insert w/ frame and put door back in. Took max 30 mins and even used spray to clean glass off before leaving. So happy to have this done and I would refer anyone looking to do so. Fyi...our cost for glass in both doors and installation was $736.

Staff and owner are knowledgeable, courteous and very helpful. Pricing is better than box stores and the selection is great. We opted to have the entire door frame replaced. Frame, door and two side lights. Product arrived earlier than expected and communication was good.The overall experience was great and I would use them again. One of the crew got excited with the liquid nails, which caused extra prep before painting, but didn't harm anything. New door really stands.

UPDATE - A few weeks ago with hesitancy I wrote a review and gave 3 Stars to the Glass Door Store.and since want to revise my opinion. As I said I had a problem with the door handle installation. I made contact with the owner, his name is Andy and we discussed the issue. As a way to resolve the problem Andy made contact with a locksmith company (Integrity Key Lock and Safe) which by the way was outstanding. I really appreciate the fact that Andy had did not leave us hanging with a door handle that was not right, the man went the extra mile to make it right. He did not make a big fuss just fix the problem. We are so happy with him its more that I can say....THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS PEOPLE LIKE YOU!The door itself turned out. I didn't want to give only 3 stars but recently I found that when the handle was install it was installed improperly and now it is not functional. Be careful to understand how the latch is to be install our was install wrong according to Baldwin (Estate a $450.00 Handle), the dust boxes were not install, the deadbolt safety strikeplate was not install nor were the required screws use. The guys were nice but definitely took short cuts and as a result I am left with ordering more parts and having it installed properly. Make sure you inspect the results carefully or you're going to have a cruddy feel when you open the door and it will be totally unsafe as my Grandson could kick it in. Just be honest.

Took some advice from my buddy Marty and called the GDS for a retrofit door they came out measured and told me the door would be made in a few weeks. When right on time the door came in they called to install and it was done. Very professional from step 1 till completion I would recommend if you're looking for a new door on your older home or any remodel :)

We had a wonderful experience with Andy and Angel Bates with The Glass Door Store. Their showroom in Lakeland was very helpful when it came down to picking out our new glass doors. Also, Angel was extremely helpful when quoting our options and explaining the ordering process. The doors were professionally installed by their own crew and took less than an hour. We were desperate to replace the door exiting onto our patio and pool...and with a full length single piece window with internal blind. Because our door was not a standard width, the usual home repair outlets were unable to help us. Enter...The Glass Door Store...and, viola, we now have a brand new, composite (no future rust issue) door...with window and blind. And...as i recall...at a lower price than the estimate we got from a local home repair outlet...when they still handled the size we needed.

We were searching for a new door that had decorative glass and my husband found this business so we checked it out. We were unable to visit the store in person because of COVID 19 but we were able to set up an appointment as a virtual visit with one of the store salespeople within a couple of days. The doors were beautiful even online. Once the store re-opened their showroom we were right there the next day! We met with Angel, one of the store owners and were greeted with such enthusiasm it made me smile right away. We viewed the inventory, which was more beautiful in person, made our choice and within a week our door was on the way! After the installation we saw immediately how much of a difference it made! I truly recommend this business to anyone who is interested in a glass door. I found it to be much much more affordable and the styles are plentiful! I cannot say enough good things about this family owned company! I found them on the internet and contacted them and immediately was talking to the owner of the company, Angel! She has customer service down to a science! Her kindness, knowledge, and professionalism is why we ultimately decided to go with them. We had a zoom call on a Saturday with Jacob (due to the pandemic) and he answered every question we had and demonstrated the product from the showroom for us. We were impressed with his knowledge and appreciated his patience with all our questions. We set it up to purchase the product (glass w blinds inside) and today (just 4 days later) it was installed. The guys who came out called us the night before to let us know what time they would be there and they were on time, polite, quick, and did an amazing job. We could not be happier with this product. But the customer service is above and beyond! They have a customer for life in us! Not hard to give a 5 star rating to this family owned company that is clearly 10 star! Highly recommend The Glass Door Store in Lakeland FL. Their main showroom is located in Tampa and they have a modified version of a showroom in Lakeland. Since we're in Davenport and did not want to make the trip to Tampa their Lakeland office was a great alternative. Angel was very accommodating with Saturday appointments. Angel did a great job with showing us all of the different options they had and if they didn't have it in the showroom, Angel was able to show us in catalogues. Installation process was very easy and installers were very accommodating with times - install only took 20 minutes. Great overall experience and very happy with the new door !!

We moved into a new home and decided to add a door insert to our existing door. We did some research and decided to visit The Glass Door Store. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly, sweet, and knowledgeable lady named Angel. We had many questions and not only did she answer all of them, she also helped us narrow down which door insert was best for us. We wanted to make sure the insert arrived in time for the holidays so, while Angel helped us with the measurements, Andy called to verify available inventory. We soon realized that Andy and Angel were husband and wife and were the owners.......they make a great team!!!! We were pleasantly surprised that it only took 2 weeks for our door to arrive. As explained by Angel, once the door arrived and inspected, we would receive a call to schedule the installation. The installers did a fantastic job! From start to finish, the installation took about one hour. We mentioned to the installers how nice Andy and Angel were and he informed us that he was their son and the other installer was his cousin. I cannot say enough how much we love our new door and how we loved doing business with The Glass Door Store. We totally support small, family owned business and highly recommend them!!!!!!! Purchased glass door inserts for our front door (decorative) and back door (adjustable mini-blind between glass). Perfect! My French doors look awesome. I took a picture of the type of doors I wanted and my measurements into the store. The store was busy with other customers, but we received a warm greeting and within a short time it was our turn. We received great customer service, and found exactly the doors we were looking for. We also chose to have them install our doors, the installers were craftsmen! I'm extremely satisfied with the service we received. I highly recommend this store. The Glass Door Store in Tampa did an amazing job installing a hurricane impact glass door insert for our front door! We love the way it looks from the outside and the light and brightness that it brings to our interior long hallway is amazing, while still providing us with privacy.
