Our beautiful new doors were delivered and installed today! Caleb and Adam were experts at their trade. Within a short period of time they had made an amazing transformation of our home. They were polite and professional and handled the task of removing and replacing doors, glass inserts and framing with ease! Upon. completion, they went over everything with us to make sure we were satisfied with their workmanship and that everything we special ordered was acknowledged. Let me just say that I was in the millwork trade for 17 yrs and I would have loved to have Adam and Caleb on my install team. Nice job guys! We are so happy we selected The Glass Door Store. The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming and each one of them makes you feel like they're taking care of you like family. Thank you!! I had a great experience working with Melissa in the Lakeland Store. From the minute I walked in the door through the purchase process she was right on top of things. I was looking to look at a specific glass that was not on the showroom floor but they had one waiting for install, she took me back to the shop so I could see it. I came to The Glass Door with a very unusual request of installing doors where there currently were no doors. AND those spaces were HUGE with arches at the top. Melissa completely jumped in and helped me every step of the way. The entire project has taken about 6 months due to the complexity of the project. Melissa never kept me in the dark. She constantly kept me informed of what was happening on the progression of my project. The installation crew was amazing! I do not think I have ever had a work crew in my home that was so clean! You could not even tell they worked in my house for 3 days. Not a spec of dirt or dust. Inside or outside of my home! Fantastic company to work with!

I am so impressed by this company! The glass arrived way sooner than expected and then was installed within 2 days. The guys who came to do the install were incredibly nice and quickly had the glass in the door.They went through their checklist which showed how much effort goes into not only installing the glass but doing so in a manner that doesnāt allow air to leak out, your door to sag form extra weight, and many other things. They even fixed our deadbolt hole which was a super kind thing for them to do.Being a new homeowner we have dealt with a lot of companies that just do the bare minimum but I can say that this company goes above and beyond and itās appreciated. We hit the jackpot when we shopped at The Lakeland Glass Door Store. Upon arrival we were greeted by Melissa, the very knowledgeable and KIND Customer Care Specialist. She helped us find the PERFECT glass insert for our home! During the entire process she valued our budget and truly went out of her way to help us find the MOST beautiful glass insert. Melissa made the ENTIRE shopping experience fun AND exciting. After the purchase Caleb called to schedule the install. He was so friendly and eager to get our inserts installed. We were actually out of town on installation day. Our neighbor, who also purchased an insert from The Glass Door Store, was in our home when Carlos and Adam arrived. Because it started to rain during the installation, they used our garage. The only way we knew this is because my neighbor told us. There was absolutely NO evidence anyone used a power saw or even walked in the garage! Ordered dual glass replacement inserts for 7 doors that had single pane glass. Melissa Vandermaas was very helpful with providing information of how to measure and order the inserts. The two gentlemen that showed up to perform the installation were very nice and professional. They cleaned up after they completed the installation and even checked the installation of the doors.

The Glass Door Store is an amazing alternative to buying an entirely new front door! And, in the off chance you want to re-do your entry way (or any door your heart desires) pay this place a visit!!! The Glass Door store does amazing work. Really helpful staff like Jordon, our sale rep, who was extremely helpful and advised us in selecting a great door! Staff were very accommodating in holding onto our glass for a long time while our house was being built. Caleb was great in keeping contact with us to see where we were on the build and when he can get us on schedule, and finally Carlos and Adam were excellent installers - did a great job, explained everything about the doors and sidelights, and even pointed out issues that needed to be fixed with the builder. Overall, great looking doors and great company! Highly recommend them.

Very rarely do I have home improvements done, without first going to the store and seeing the items firsthand or having someone come out to look at the job. But I had read all the positive reviews, about The Glass Door Store, and found an insert (Waterside) that my wife and I really liked. So I emailed the company for an estimate. Within an hour, I received an email from Melissa Vandermaas, their Customer Care Specialist. Melissa answered all my questions, helped me with measurements and help finalize our sale. I expected that it would take several weeks for us to receive our insert, but, lo and behold, within one weekās time we had our insert installed. On the day of the installation, the installers arrived on time and said that they would be finished in about 30 minutes. They werenāt lying as the whole process took about 35 minutes! Our new insert looks great and really lights up the front foyer of our house! I would recommend The Glass Door Store for anyone looking to dress up their gloomy entrance!

After seeing many of my neighbors with glass decorative inserts in their front doors I checked with a few, and they all had it done by the glass door store! Every single one of them was delighted with the door the installation and the customer service! My experience was no different, I went on a Saturday, and spent approximately a half an hour with Jason (?). I picked out the glass insert that I wanted gave a 50% deposit and it was installed in approximately two weeks. Installation was very quick and easy and I am delighted with the final product.

We visited 2 different places looking for a glass insert in our existing front door. The Glass Door Store stood out with amazing customer service and the best prices too! The other company tried forcing us to purchase much more expensive hurricane impact glass while The Glass Door Store gave us options (including an option to purchase hurricane shutters specifically for the glass portion of the door!)Upon visiting their showroom, they suggested we find a few styles that we like so they can provide quotes. While in the store I chose 3, which they promptly emailed quotes over so I could start my HOA approval process. Prices do vary significantly based on which glass of your favorite.After going home, I found 2 more glass styles that I liked. Emailed my salesperson back and within less than a day I had 2 more quotes waiting for me, no questions asked. Their customer service really is stellar.They allow you to pay 50% deposit to get your order going and the remaining balance upon installation.And let me tell you, installation was quick and easy! I was so impressed with how quickly their guys took my door off, cut a hole in it, and made it beautiful with the glass I selected. It was 15 minutes! Couldn't be happier. We had plain front (no sunlight in) French doors. We're looking to replace doors for ones with glass in them to get that look. Was referred here to where they add inserts to existing doors at a fraction of the cost with, honestly, more of the look we wanted. Guys came here, unattached each door separately, cut door in driveway, added insert w/ frame and put door back in. Took max 30 mins and even used spray to clean glass off before leaving. So happy to have this done and I would refer anyone looking to do so. Fyi...our cost for glass in both doors and installation was $736.

Took some advice from my buddy Marty and called the GDS for a retrofit door they came out measured and told me the door would be made in a few weeks. When right on time the door came in they called to install and it was done. We moved into a new home and decided to add a door insert to our existing door. We did some research and decided to visit The Glass Door Store. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly, sweet, and knowledgeable lady named Angel. We had many questions and not only did she answer all of them, she also helped us narrow down which door insert was best for us. We wanted to make sure the insert arrived in time for the holidays so, while Angel helped us with the measurements, Andy called to verify available inventory. We soon realized that Andy and Angel were husband and wife and were the owners.......they make a great team!!!! We were pleasantly surprised that it only took 2 weeks for our door to arrive. As explained by Angel, once the door arrived and inspected, we would receive a call to schedule the installation. The installers did a fantastic job! From start to finish, the installation took about one hour. We mentioned to the installers how nice Andy and Angel were and he informed us that he was their son and the other installer was his cousin. I cannot say enough how much we love our new door and how we loved doing business with The Glass Door Store. We totally support small, family owned business and highly recommend them!!!!!!! Perfect! My French doors look awesome. I took a picture of the type of doors I wanted and my measurements into the store. The Glass Door Store in Tampa did an amazing job installing a hurricane impact glass door insert for our front door! We love the way it looks from the outside and the light and brightness that it brings to our interior long hallway is amazing, while still providing us with privacy. We specialize in offering our clients the cost-effective solution to upgrade their entry doors by cutting their existing exterior door and adding decorative glass inserts. Additionally, we also help upgrade existing glass from clear to decorative or older to newer designs, or replace the entire door unit when necessary or desired.
We also replace sliding glass doors with French doors, change the side or back entry doors seen typically off the garage or bathroom to patio area. Because these doors are usually exposed to a lot of moisture and sunlight, we recommend and encourage homeowners to use our fully composite fiberglass doors, frames and threshold units to withstand these elements. You can count on our all-composite units to not swell, rot, rust or house termites over time.
Sometimes doors cannot be cut to fit the standard glass sizes.
