Impact glass varies from the standard tempered glass inserts for doors because of the extra strength of the glass and the frame. The glass has been laminated together for extra strength and durability needed to withstand the force of hurricane-grade winds. Etched Hurricane Impact Glass Doors

Hurricane impact glass can also be etched with tropical, aquatic, geometric or custom themes in a huge selection of previously-made or custom designs and can be done on either clear glass, textured glass or even on enclosed blind inserts. If you desire higher privacy, we suggest etching on textured glass. If you’re looking for more visibility then we recommend etching on clear glass inserts. And if you want both visibility and privacy depending on the time and need, then enclosed blinds are the way to go.
