From start to finish a perfect experience with trained, professional and personable staff. We chose a beautiful insert for our existing door. Melissa worked with me upfront to plan, order and deliver the glass insert itself and kept me updated constantly. After the insert was delivered to GDS and QC’d, I received a call 1 day later from Caleb that they were ready for installation, scheduled two days later! Caleb and Adam came to do the installation when promised and carefully prepared the door and installed the glass insert within 15 minutes. They ran down their checklist and cleaned everything door, insert and floor area, as well as check the door handle mechanism and existing deadbolt. I can’t thank this team enough for the beautiful transformation! I would recommend before buying a new door, to look at your existing door, talk the professionals at Glass Door Store and evaluate an insert in your existing door. 100% satisfied.

Our beautiful new doors were delivered and installed today! Caleb and Adam were experts at their trade. Within a short period of time they had made an amazing transformation of our home. They were polite and professional and handled the task of removing and replacing doors, glass inserts and framing with ease! Upon. completion, they went over everything with us to make sure we were satisfied with their workmanship and that everything we special ordered was acknowledged. I came to The Glass Door with a very unusual request of installing doors where there currently were no doors. AND those spaces were HUGE with arches at the top. Melissa completely jumped in and helped me every step of the way. The entire project has taken about 6 months due to the complexity of the project. Melissa never kept me in the dark. She constantly kept me informed of what was happening on the progression of my project. The installation crew was amazing! I do not think I have ever had a work crew in my home that was so clean! I am so impressed by this company! The glass arrived way sooner than expected and then was installed within 2 days. The guys who came to do the install were incredibly nice and quickly had the glass in the door.They went through their checklist which showed how much effort goes into not only installing the glass but doing so in a manner that doesn’t allow air to leak out, your door to sag form extra weight, and many other things. They even fixed our deadbolt hole which was a super kind thing for them to do.Being a new homeowner we have dealt with a lot of companies that just do the bare minimum but I can say that this company goes above and beyond and it’s appreciated. We hit the jackpot when we shopped at The Lakeland Glass Door Store. Upon arrival we were greeted by Melissa, the very knowledgeable and KIND Customer Care Specialist. Staff were very accommodating in holding onto our glass for a long time while our house was being built. Caleb was great in keeping contact with us to see where we were on the build and when he can get us on schedule, and finally Carlos and Adam were excellent installers - did a great job, explained everything about the doors and sidelights, and even pointed out issues that needed to be fixed with the builder. Overall, great looking doors and great company! Highly recommend them.

Very rarely do I have home improvements done, without first going to the store and seeing the items firsthand or having someone come out to look at the job. But I had read all the positive reviews, about The Glass Door Store, and found an insert (Waterside) that my wife and I really liked. So I emailed the company for an estimate. Within an hour, I received an email from Melissa Vandermaas, their Customer Care Specialist. Melissa answered all my questions, helped me with measurements and help finalize our sale. I expected that it would take several weeks for us to receive our insert, but, lo and behold, within one week’s time we had our insert installed. On the day of the installation, the installers arrived on time and said that they would be finished in about 30 minutes. They weren’t lying as the whole process took about 35 minutes! Our new insert looks great and really lights up the front foyer of our house! I would recommend The Glass Door Store for anyone looking to dress up their gloomy entrance!

After seeing many of my neighbors with glass decorative inserts in their front doors I checked with a few, and they all had it done by the glass door store! Every single one of them was delighted with the door the installation and the customer service! My experience was no different, I went on a Saturday, and spent approximately a half an hour with Jason (?). I picked out the glass insert that I wanted gave a 50% deposit and it was installed in approximately two weeks. Installation was very quick and easy and I am delighted with the final product.

We were under construction on a new home and were disappointed to learn that the builder dropped the ball on ordering our desired front doors. Our only option was a 6 panel door which we did not want but didn’t have time to wait for a custom door to be ordered. After some research, we found The Glass Door Store. Melissa at the Lakeland store was very helpful and the gentleman who installed the inserts was amazing and went above and beyond. And in the end, we saved money over what the custom ordered doors were going to cost. Thank you!

A neighbor told me about The Glass Door Store and we couldn't be happier. I had been wanting glass in the front door since we moved in, it was so dark in the entry way. Now when I walk by I think someone left the front door open. I spoke with Jordan and received a quote once we picked out the type of glass we wanted. Made the order and we had a glass insert in less than a month. They made the process very easy and did such a great job. I love it more every time I see it.

Very good experience using Glass Door Store after another provider fell through. They gave a reasonable estimate price, as well as estimated timeframe for job performance. They actually were able to install/cut our glass insert halfway into that timeframe, which was great! Would recommend them to someone doing a glass insert project.

Today we visited the Glass Door Store in Lakeland, Fla.The show room had a verity of glass doors to choose from. With the assistance of Angel and her knowledge of their product, along with answering any and all questions we had, she took it above and beyond to help us understandhow the glass will be installed in our existing door.Thank you Angel.On October 27 we visited the Glass Door Store in Lakeland, Fla.After selecting the glass insert we were informed that we will be notified when we can expect delivery. To our surprise, the glass insert was delivered on November 2nd, and it was installed under an hour.We are more then happy with the workmanship and the new look our door has.Thanks to all at the Glass Door Store.Frank and Kathleen

Couldn't be happier. We had plain front (no sunlight in) French doors. We're looking to replace doors for ones with glass in them to get that look. Was referred here to where they add inserts to existing doors at a fraction of the cost with, honestly, more of the look we wanted. Guys came here, unattached each door separately, cut door in driveway, added insert w/ frame and put door back in. Took max 30 mins and even used spray to clean glass off before leaving. So happy to have this done and I would refer anyone looking to do so. Fyi...our cost for glass in both doors and installation was $736. Robin Stockton

Took some advice from my buddy Marty and called the GDS for a retrofit door they came out measured and told me the door would be made in a few weeks. When right on time the door came in they called to install and it was done. We moved into a new home and decided to add a door insert to our existing door. We did some research and decided to visit The Glass Door Store. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly, sweet, and knowledgeable lady named Angel. We had many questions and not only did she answer all of them, she also helped us narrow down which door insert was best for us. We wanted to make sure the insert arrived in time for the holidays so, while Angel helped us with the measurements, Andy called to verify available inventory. We soon realized that Andy and Angel were husband and wife and were the owners.......they make a great team!!!! We were pleasantly surprised that it only took 2 weeks for our door to arrive. As explained by Angel, once the door arrived and inspected, we would receive a call to schedule the installation. The installers did a fantastic job! From start to finish, the installation took about one hour. We mentioned to the installers how nice Andy and Angel were and he informed us that he was their son and the other installer was his cousin. I cannot say enough how much we love our new door and how we loved doing business with The Glass Door Store. We totally support small, family owned business and highly recommend them!!!!!!! Perfect! My French doors look awesome. I took a picture of the type of doors I wanted and my measurements into the store. The store was busy with other customers, but we received a warm greeting and within a short time it was our turn. We received great customer service, and found exactly the doors we were looking for. We also chose to have them install our doors, the installers were craftsmen! I'm extremely satisfied with the service we received. I highly recommend this store. The Glass Door Store in Tampa did an amazing job installing a hurricane impact glass door insert for our front door! We love the way it looks from the outside and the light and brightness that it brings to our interior long hallway is amazing, while still providing us with privacy.
